Exactly how is mastering the standing broad jump EVER going to benefit us in the future? I have absolutely no idea. What's the whole point of measuring the distance you can travel with a single jump? It's point-less, and there's no arguing about that. I mean, if someone were being chased by a serial killer, would he/she stop dead in his/her track, swing his/her arms back and forth and travel forward by about 2m or 1.55m (if he/she were as bad at it as me) and then repeat the whole procedure again? Perhaps an insane person might, but not those who are mentally sound. I don't see any benefits which we can yield from it. Not. At. All. In conclusion, North Indians simply aren't meant to master the standing broad jump. It is in our genes alright or rather, in our anatomy. Seriously, I have yet to meet a North Indian who has gotten a C or even a D for standing broad jump. Haha. Oh well.Likes
